John expressed the values of his Catholic faith in relation to his life in an essay he wrote as a college freshman. Service to others was an important part of John's faith as he grew up in the Bruner family and in the church. He demonstrated service as captain of his high school cross country team, as an Eagle Scout, and as a student. John loved church traditions, and had many joyful memories of spending time with friends at church events. He expressed that those memories brought him closer to God. As a college freshman he felt God's guidance and he wrote "I feel that the Lord has been guiding me through my college life by helping me in my studies and in finding friends. I feel the Lord is always around and helping me." Write a 200 - 300 word essay addressing how faith will guide your college journey and prepare you for the future.
